Rubicon is around 16.3hh and is truly black with a small amount of white on on his back fetlocks. He is registered and branded Oldenburg by Regazzoni. When Rubicon was learning to jump he was tested through a 3'9" gymnastic on his second attempt at jumping. He is very brave and his first exposure to jumping was over Cross Country obstacles including a scary ditch, bank up and down (3ft) and Novice level solids, he free jumped a 4' log without a care! He will jump from anywhere (long or short), and is very honest. He has his lead changes and is coursing around well, he even got a second place in SNHJA Open Hunters in a field of 8! He has good lateral work including leg yield and shoulder fore, he moves his shoulders and hips independently off the leg. He is very athletic, a spectacular mover and jumps in good form which gets better as the jumps get higher. Everyone who sees him says how much potential he has and says WOW, he is beautiful! He has correct conformation and and in your pocket playful personality. His gaits are very correct for dressage with a 10 walk! Dressage video is with a teenage rider (Thanks Haley!!).
